Comments About This Park
August Doyle
(7/22/2011):
Glendale Park is a sorry park. There are no lights, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, limited play ground equipment, no flowers, no dog runs. To sum it up its just a wooded area with a walking pad. The city claim that the park is in a flood plain and there is nothing they can do to it. The Trinity Park is in a sure flood plain but over 400 million dollars will be spent there. They are building a park over the Woodall Rodger freeway for over 80 millions. This park is over 50 years old and there is no master plan for this park. The park is to service over 180,000 people and there is nothing for the resident there. Shame on the City of Dallas. The city need to fire the park director and hire Arlington or Denton's park director.
