Janet V. (4/15/2012): This is a pleasant park that doubles as the flood plain for Alum Creek. Feels very safe, it's very spacious and the recreational trail runs through the length of the park. Apparently recently a small dam was removed from within Alum Creek in or near Nelson Park. The Park is adjacent to the Eastgate neighborhood and Bexley borders the park on the east (across Alum Creek). (report as inappropriate)
