Michael Bolo (10/18/2011): While looking at the walking bridge in Tyden Park I was very interested in the huge tree that is located about 40 to 50 feet just South of the covered picnic spot. What kind of tree is it? It is huge. About 5 feet thick. I am surprised someone has not put a placque on it discribing the type of tree and how old it is. Very few trees ever grow to this size. I would appreciate a comment on this and especially what type of tree it is? Sincerely Mike (report as inappropriate)
