Please let me know it is our favorite place to be and I am not sure how to get ahold of someone to ask! Thank you! (report as inappropriate)
Ellyssa Eiring (5/14/2011): We went to Butcher Jones recreation area today with my family thinking that it might be a nice alternative to renting a boat. To our disappointment we found that the beach area is not as nice as we had imagined. The beach area is covered in seaweed from being pushed ashore and the muck/seaweed that we walked in was full of leeches leaving us with at least 2 per person after walking in it for about 5 minutes. I would not consider this an enjoyable area to take a family swimming.Wish someone had posted a review lije this before we drove out in excited anticipation. (report as inappropriate)
